SIPA

On March 25th, 2011 an email was sent to one of the State Investigation and Protection Agency’s official e-mail addresses by a B&H citizen Armin who is currently studying in Istanbul. He wished for SIPA to create a Facebook page so he could learn more about its activities. We are publishing Armin’s e-mail in full.

My name is Armin. I’m a student in Istanbul, Physics Department. I would like to congratulate you on activities very popular among people from Bosnia and Herzegovina I’m familiar with here in Istanbul, like the latest one related to illegally duplicated CDs and DVDs.

Many congratulations from all of us and we hope that you will keep doing your job and inform us on actions’ success.

SIPA is becoming a very popular agency among “ordinary people” and I recommend that you make “contact with ordinary people” in a modern, relatively simple and cheap way.

Personally, I wish there was an official SIPA’s Facebook page for keeping us informed and updated. SIPA is an excellent agency, but it lacks a voice. Please, consider my suggestion. I believe that the closer SIPA is to our people, the easier it will be for SIPA to operate in this area, maybe even with more information gathered.

SIPA is merely a thorn in a side of those who break the law and something my friends and I are proud of.”
