War Crime Suspects Apprehended

Today, September 15, 2011, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), apprehended four persons with initials JT (1953), ZT (1970), MB (1956) and BZ (1973) in Prijedor, Banja Luka and Brčko due to grounded suspicion that they in 1992 as members of the Republic of Srpska Reserve Police Forces killed several persons of Bosniak nationality in Bihać Municipality.
After criminal processing in the SIPA premises, the apprehended persons together with a report on the offence committed under Article 142 (paragraph 1) (War Crimes against Civilians) will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of Una-Sana Canton by whose orders the operation was carried out.
