Visit of Military-Diplomatic Corps to SIPA

During the visit, Mr. Goran Zubac, SIPA's Director, presented to military attachés from Austria, Romania, Serbia, Germany, Bulgaria, China, Russia, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, France, USA and Spain the organisational structure of SIPA, its competencies and all other important details in relation to its successful functioning, noting that SIPA is structured on the model of the FBI. He emphasised also that he would not allow anyone to meddle in the competences of the Agency, just as SIPA respected competencies of other law enforcement agencies in the country.
Director Zubac pointed out that SIPA with its previous activities on prevention and disclosure of different types of organised crime has regained its reputation and trust of the citizens and that it will fight against everything not in accordance with the Constitution and laws of B&H. In addition, he said that SIPA has a very good cooperation with partner police agencies in the country and the region and that it is the only way to respond to all challenges in combating the most complex types of crime. The military attachés pointed out that they have a great interest in speeding up the processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its armed forces on their road to Euro - Atlantic integration as well as that they provide their continuous support within the framework of bilateral cooperation.
After the meeting, Mr. Andreas Rotter, Brigadier General, presented to the Agency's Director the Plaque of the Military Diplomatic Corps to B&H.
