Tuzla: Three Afro-Asian Migrants Found

On 29 August 2012, acting upon the information by an official from Tuzla Customs Terminal, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) police officials detected three Afro-Asian migrants at the mentioned Terminal who had been hidden in a truck bearing Macedonian registration plates.

The detected immigrants, G.V. (DOB 1986), national of Afghanistan, and two Pakistani nationals, both with initials S.S. (DOB 1981 and 1982), due to poor psychological and physical state, were transferred to the Clinical Centre Tuzla, where they were provided with medical care, whereupon they were handed over to the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs on 30 August 2012 for further processing.

Upon the order from the Court B&H, SIPA’s police officials carried out a detailed search of the truck and took a statement from the truck driver, a national of Macedonia.

The Prosecutor’s Office of B&H, which will handle further investigation, was informed about the measures and activities carried out.
