Yesterday, 3/11/2013, after all necessary security requirements and conditions were met, the crime scene investigation was conducted in the location Trešnjev panj, Tešanj Municipality upon the discovery of a large amount of military weapons on Friday,01/11/2013. Total 652 recoilless gun grenades of 84 mm calibre were found in the location.

The crime scene investigation was carried out by police officials of Zenica-Doboj Canton MoI. Given that the SIPA has been carrying out a months-long investigation into illegal storage of military weapons in this municipality, the SIPA inspectors were present during the crime scene investigation.

According to the available intelligence, the weapons can be brought into connection with a large amount of weapons found by SIPA in July this year in Kaloševići village in this municipality.

The SIPA continues the months-long investigation aimed at discovery of all locations that could contain hidden mine-explosive devices and individuals involved in these illegal activities about which the public will be duly informed.
