Students of “CEPS” College from Kiseljak Visited SIPA

Today, 23/05/2014 - First-year students from College “CEPS – Centre for Business Studies” accompanied by lecturers Vjekoslav Vuković and Mirza Selimić visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA). The students were welcomed and greeted by SIPA Assistant Director Anđelko Hrgić.

Around 30 students of Security Studies Department majoring in Criminalistics got familiar with the organisational structure, competence and role of SIPA within the security system of B&H. During the lectures delivered by officers of the SIPA Criminal Investigation Department the students were presented some concrete cases that the Agency worked on in the last period and a special lecture was held on criminalistics.

There was also a visit organised to the SIPA Special Support Unit during which the students were addressed by acting commander Jovica Mirosavljević who presented all the relevant details in connection with the operation of this Unit. The students also watched promotional movie of the Special Support Unit which shows the Unit’s trainings and clips from real operations as well.
Also, they had the opportunity to try the "Laser Shot" and were shown some of the arms of the Unit. 

Representatives of the “CEPS“ College expressed their gratitude for the reception and welcome and concluded that the visit was very successful and useful.

The State Investigation and Protection Agency will cooperate with this institution in the future as well as with other educational institutions in B&H.
