Students in Visit to SIPA, Discussed Phenomenon of Terrorism

On 13 December 2012, students of the first year Postgraduate Course of the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo, along with their professor Vlado Azinović, visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and discussed the phenomenon of terrorism with SIPA’s representatives.

Students currently taking the course of Terrorism and Political Violence were introduced to SIPA’s competences and the position and role of the Agency in combating terrorism, during a discussion with representatives from the Section for Combating Terrorism and Special Support Unit of SIPA.

While recognising the multidisciplinary approach of the professor Azinović to the phenomenon of terrorism, and his effort to teach about terrorism from a socio-economic, psychological, ideological, religious and security aspect, in order to develop with the students the understanding of security and political context in which it occurs, the State Investigation and Protection Agency will continue cooperation with this institution, as well as other educational institutions in BH.
