Stolac: SIPA Deprived One Individual of Liberty for War Crime

Today in the afternoon (2/2/2016), acting upon orders of the Prosecutor’s Office B&H, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) deprived the individual identified by initials JK of liberty for war crime in the area of Stolac.

The individual JK was deprived of liberty due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 173 Paragraph (1) of the CC B&H “War Crime against Civilians” in conjunction with Article 180 of the CC B&H, in the area of Stolac Municipality during 1993.

Acting upon orders of the Court B&H, SIPA investigators searched facilities used by the suspect to detect and seize items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.

The individual deprived of liberty will be brought to SIPA premises for criminal processing, after which he will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.
