Six-Member Criminal Group Deprived of Liberty in Herzegovina

As part of continuing activities on detection of organised crime and illicit trade in narcotic drugs, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) apprehended a six-member group in Herzegovina region discovering a certain quantity of weapons and narcotic drugs.
Six locations owned or used by the apprehended persons in Trebinje, Stolac, Čapljina, Ljubuški and Mostar were searched in cooperation with B&H Border Police, MoI of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, MoI of Western Herzegovina Canton and Trebinje Public Security Centre.
The persons with initials N.V. (1979), V.P. (1986), Z.O. (1971), E.K. (1978), D.K. (1984), Ž.B. (1980), were arrested within this action that previously resulted in apprehension of 22 persons.
After criminal processing in SIPA premises, the apprehended persons together with a criminal report on the criminal offences committed under Article 280 of the CCB&H (Organised Crime) and in conjunction with Article 195 of the CCB&H (Illicit Trade in Narcotic Drugs) will be handed over to the B&H Prosecutor's Office by whose orders the action was carried out. All activities were supported by the MoI of Republic of Croatia.
