Today (09/06/2014) – police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency searched buildings in six locations as part of “Koverta” Operation in the area of Una-Sana Canton. The operation was carried out by the orders of the Una-Sana Cantonal Court in Bihać and in cooperation with Una –Sana Ministry of Interior. These activities were carried out with the aim of finding objects that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.

Two individuals were arrested in this operation while three individuals were questioned due to grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 342 of the CC FB&H “Organised Crime” and in conjunction with the criminal offence under Article 380 of the CC FB&H „Accepting Gifts and Other Forms of Benefit”, criminal offence under Article 383 of the CC FB&H „Abuse of Office or Authority” and criminal offence under Article 382 of the CC FB&H „Illicit Interceding”.

Following criminal processing, the arrested individuals will be handed over to Una-Sana Canton Prosecutor’s Office for further procedure.

The activities within this operation will be continued and the public will be subsequently informed of the outcomes.
