On September 28th, 2010, as a part of the established practice of holding regular weekly meetings, the Director of the Border Police Vinko Dumancic, the Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) Mirko Lujic and the Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies Himzo Selimovic met at the B&H Border Police Head Office.

The functioning of these police bodies, further cooperation strengthening, and more efficient information exchange were discussed at the meeting. Coordinated cooperation is imperative, as well as a mechanism for suppression of all types of organised and trans-border crime, the directors of the agencies pointed out.

Recent operational activities and other issues of inter-police cooperation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region were also analysed at the meeting. Successful cooperation of these three police institutions will be continued, the meeting concluded.
