SIPA Special Support Unit Successfully Completed Training Organised by B&H Armed Forces

In the period 08/07 – 02/08/2013, members of the SIPA Special Support Unit attended the training "Breaching Techniques - Use of Explosives“ organised by the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H AF). The training took place in Rajlovac barracks and polygons of the Armed Forces of B&H in Sarajevo.
The aim of the training was to introduce the special "breaching" techniques and techniques of violent passages through barricaded buildings and individuals and to raise the combat readiness of the Special Support Unit members to a higher level.

"This challenging and in technical terms complex training will be applied in the future activities of the Unit when the need for a safe use of explosives for ‘creating holes’ to overcome barriers arises”, SIPA Special Support Unit Commander Mirsad Vilić said.
After successful completion of the training, the participants were awarded the certificates, and the Brigadier General of the B&H AF Sakib Forić addressed them stressing that the B&H Armed Forces will support continuously B&H security structures in their trainings, in order to enable them to respond readily and professionally to all future challenges.
