Today (5/12/2014) – As part of continued activities in the operation codenamed “Koverta”, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched two buildings in the area of Bihać owned by FŠ. These activities were carried out upon orders of the Una-Sana Cantonal Court in Bihać and Una-Sana Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office.

Interrogation of the individual with initials FŠ is underway in SIPA premises due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 342 of the CC FB&H “Organised Crime”, in conjunction with Article 380 of the CC FB&H „Accepting Gifts and Other Forms of Benefits” and criminal offence under Article 383 of the CC FB&H „Abuse of Office or Official Authority“.

To remind, the Operation “Koverta“ , which resulted in apprehension of four individuals for organised crimes and corruption-related criminal offences and one individual for obstruction of justice, started 9/6/2014.

The activities in this case will be continued and the public will be subsequently informed of the outcomes.
