On Suspicion of Revealing the Identity of Protected Witness

SIPA Searched Residential Facility in the Sarajevo Area

This morning (14/04/2016), police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched a residential facility used by the person identified by initials BŠ (1976) in the Sarajevo area. These activities were conducted with the aim of finding and the seizure of items that can be linked to the commission of the offense under Article 240 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina "Revealing the Identity of a Protected Witness" in the proceedings conducted before the Court of B&H in the case against D.Š. Activities are carried out on the orders of the Court of B&H and the B&H Prosecutor's Office, with the support of Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton.

Individual identified by initials B.Š. will be questioned in the official premises of SIPA as a suspect, and the appropriate reports on the activities and temporarily seized items, as well as the report on the grounds for suspicion on a criminal offense being committed and the perpetrator will be submitted to the Court of B&H and the B&H Prosecutor's Office within the legal deadline.
