Yesterday (22/12/2015), as part of the continued activities on protection of copyrights police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched four locations in the area of Brod due to grounded suspicion of the criminal offence of impermissible use of copyrights. The activities were carried out upon orders of the Court and Prosecutor’s Office B&H.

Two private houses and two business facilities were searched and around 6500 of potentially pirated versions of CDs and DVDs and around 3000 plastic cases for CDs and DVDs were found and seized.

Two individuals were interviewed on SIPA premises as suspects against whom the report on grounded suspicion of perpetration of the criminal offence and perpetrators will be filed to the Prosecutor’s Office B&H.
