Yesterday (03/02/2016), police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched facilities in two locations in Lukavac area, with the aim of finding and seizure of items that may serve as evidence that a criminal offense “Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs” was committed. Facilities used by an individual identified by initials MD (1981) were searched; the individual was apprehended in Sweden in the previous period.

These activities were conducted on the orders of the B&H Court and Prosecutor's Office, based on the letter rogatory on mutual legal assistance, sent by the competent authorities of Sweden, and in cooperation with police officials of the Police Department Lukavac.

Items that may serve as evidence in the proceedings conducted by the competent Prosecutor’s Office in Sweden, were found and temporarily seized, during the search, including: SIM cards, memory cards, slips of paper with phone numbers and names, and other objects.

During the day, SIPA will submit to the B&H Court and the Prosecutor's Office reports on the activities and temporarily seized items.
