SIPA Searched another Four Locations

Today (12/8/2016) police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched four locations in the area of Istočno Sarajevo.

Further to the last week activities when facilities used by the individuals arrested by the Sarajevo Canton MoI were searched due to attempted theft of a luxury vehicle BMW, police officials of SIPA, upon orders of the Court B&H and Prosecutor’s Office B&H searched another four locations today. This and last week activities were conducted in cooperation with police officials of Sarajevo Canton MoI and with the support of police officials of Istočno Sarajevo Public Security Centre.  

Searches of movable and immovable property were conducted to collect material evidence that the suspects committed the criminal offence under Article 250 of the CCB&H “Organised Crime” in conjunction with criminal offence under Article 214 of the CCB&H “Smuggling” and Article 287 of the CCFB&H “Aggravated Theft”.

A considerable quantity of disassembled vehicle parts, which are suspected to have been the objects of crime, was found and seized during the searches.

Records and reports on the action will be submitted to the Court B&H and the Prosecutor's Office B&H within the legal deadline.
