SIPA seached one facility due to grounds for suspicion of participation in armed conflicts in Ukrain

This morning (27/10/2017), police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched one residential facility in the area of Banja Luka due to grounds for suspicion that a criminal offence of unlawful establishing and joining foreign paramilitary and parapolice formations, set out in Article 162b of the Criminal Code of B&H, has been committed.
The abovementioned activities were carried out by the orders of the Court of B&H and Prosecutor’s Office of B&H, with the aim of detection and temporary seizure of assets that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.
One individual is suspected of participation in armed conflicts in Ukraine, and his enquiry is currently being conducted in the offical premises of SIPA.
The activities within this case will be continued, thus, at this stage, we are not able to provide more information to the public.
