SIPA Police Officials Visited St. Ivan Monastery in Kraljeva Sutjeska

Today (20/2/2015) – Police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) visited St. Ivan Monastery in Kraljeva Sutjeska and met vicars Fr. Željko Brkić and Fr. Stjepan Duvnjak. They discussed security situation over the alleged threats to the monastery in recent days.

The SIPA police officials offered their support and pointed out that the Agency will within its competence respond to potential threats to people or property.

To this end, SIPA will in coordination with the Zenica-Doboj Canton Ministry of the Interior intensify activities to collect intelligence and information about potential threatening to the monastery and its valuable relics.

During the visit SIPA police officials toured the monastery and were presented with its facilities.
