SIPA Members Winners of IPA Futsal League

The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) team won the first place of IPA Futsal League in a competition that lasted from March to December 2013, organised by the International Police Association (IPA) – Regional Club Sarajevo.

Eight teams took part in the IPA Futsal League made up of members of different security structures of BH (SIPA, Border Police BH, Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies BH, Service for Foreigners’ Affairs, Federal Police Administration, Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior, Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior and Court Police of RS).

In addition to winning first place, SIPA’s team also won the Cups for the best player and goal keeper. The Cups for the winning team and individual awards were presented at a ceremony held on 1 April 2014 in Sarajevo, by Enis Bešlagić, an actor who is a celebrity endorser of the IPA Project.

Members of SIPA were pleased to accept the invitation to participate in this league and demonstrated their skills. The participation at the IPA Futsal League contributed to the development of sportsmanship and amicable relations between various security structures in BH.
