After the media in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced the news that the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) police officials, upon an alleged request from the Sector for Protection of Classified Information of the Ministry of Security B&H, are searching the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&H in relation to an alleged destruction of confidential documents, we would like to inform you about the following:
The State Investigation and Protection Agency police officials are not carrying out activities upon the request from the Ministry of Security B&H, in relation to the alleged destruction of confidential documents in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&H.
As a part of active cases being investigated by the Agency, and in relation to possible illegal activities in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&H, the State Investigation and Protection Agency police officials have taken certain documents from this Ministry on several occasions.
The mentioned activities are being carried out exclusively by the orders and instructions from the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H and not the Ministry of Security of B&H.

Nakon što su mediji u Bosni i Hercegovini objavili vijest da policijski službenici Državne agencije za istrage i zaštitu (SIPA) po navodnom zahjevu Sektora za zaštitu tajnih podataka Ministarstva sigurnosti BiH pretražuje Ministarstvo vanjskih poslova BiH, u vezi s navodnim uništavanjem povjerljive dokumentacije, obavještavamo Vas o sljedećem:
Policijski službenici Državne agencije za istrage i zaštitu ne postupaju po zahtjevu Ministarstva sigurnosti BiH u vezi sa navodnim uništavanjem povjerljive dokumentacije u Ministarstvu vanjskih poslova BiH.
U okviru aktivnih predmeta koji se vode u Agenciji, a u vezi sa mogućim nezakonitostima u Ministarstvu vanjskih poslova BiH, policijski službenici Državne agencije za istrage i zaštitu u više navrata izuzimali su određenu dokumentaciju iz navedenog ministarstva.
Navedene aktivnosti se izvode isključivo po naredbama i uputstvima Tužilaštva BiH, a ne Ministarstva sigurnosti BiH.
