SIPA Inspector the Most Successful in UN Peace Operation Training

Following completion of the training for the UN peacekeeping missions, a certificate awarding ceremony was held in the Peace Support Operation Training Centre (PSOTC) in Butmir on 11/10/2013 for 30 police officials from Bosnia and Herzegovina and 11 police officials from other countries (Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia, Sweden and Macedonia).

The training was attended by 10 members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency and the most successful trainee was inspector of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA). The most successful trainees during the previous two trainings were also SIPA police officials.

The participants in the ceremony were addressed by Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies Himzo Selimović, UN Women to B&H Regional Manager Edwin Berry, and PSOTC Training Director Elvedin Omić, who emphasised the importance of this training.

This is the third time that the UN Peace Mission Training is organised during which 93 local police officials were trained to carry out all tasks required in the UN peacekeeping missions.
