SIPA Initiated Three Operations across Bosnia and Herzegovina

On 26 April 2013, acting upon orders from the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Prosecutor’s Office BH, members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) initiated three operations across Bosnia and Herzegovina code-named “Memory”, “Patriot” and “Pravda”. The operations were carried out with the assistance from members of the Intelligence Security Agency BH, Ministry of Interior of Republic of Srpska, Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Ministry of Interior, Central Bosnia Canton Ministry of Interior and Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office.
The operations covered several dozens of individuals in relation to the perpetration of criminal offences of corruption and criminal offences against official or other responsible duty set out in the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and criminal offences of illicit trafficking in narcotics and organised crime set out in the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Searches at several locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina were carried out.
