SIPA

The activities of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in combating weapons smuggling will be presented in a French documentary about fighting weapons smuggling.The documentary will be broadcasted in “90 minut enquetes” by the French TV TF1.

The shots for the documentary were taken on 17/1/2014 in the SIPA premises, Special Support Unit HQ and Pašino brdo in Sarajevo.

SIPA Special Support Unit conducted drills in the field of special operations tactics (intrusions into a building and vehicle) for this documentary. The documentary staff interviewed a SIPA inspector working on investigations into weapons trafficking.

The aim of the documentary about the fight against smuggling of weapons is to present successful operations and overall activities of the law enforcement agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and France, but also in other countries in the region, in the fight against this type of crime and readiness of the agencies to respond promptly to all security challenges.
