SIPA Host of Conference “Practical Aspects of Criminal Investigation in BH”

The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) will be the host of the working conference “Practical Aspects of Criminal Investigation in BH” on 13 and 14 December 2012.
The aim of the conference is to find practical solutions for issues referring to the improvement of police and judicial cooperation during criminal investigations.
The conference will be attended by Prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office BH, Entity and Cantonal Prosecutors and Prosecutors from the District Brčko, as well as heads of various police agencies at all levels of government in BH.
With the assistance from local and international experts, theoretical issues will be covered in the framework of the conference, such as how to interpret the term “grounds for suspicion” and when the supervision by prosecutors in criminal investigations begins.
Media representatives will be introduced to conference conclusions at a press conference on Friday, 14 December 2012 at 12:30, at the headquarters of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), Nikole Tesle 59, Istočno Sarajevo.
