SIPA Director Took Part in Regional Conference of Police Chiefs in Belgrade

 Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) Goran Zubac took part in the Regional Conference of Police Chiefs held in Belgrade on 10 October 2013 at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia. The conference was aimed at strengthening international police cooperation in domain of organised crime and illegal migrations.

The conference was attended by delegations and police chiefs from Albania, Italy, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, Moldova, Romania and Slovenia.

SIPA Director emphasised that fight against organised crime is one of the most important issues of the police, which can be adequately addressed only through cooperation and said that the Regional Conference of Police Chiefs is a follow-up of good operational cooperation and crown of all previous activities.

Considering SIPA actions in the field of bilateral police cooperation, Zubac said that there are operational activities taken with the MoIs of Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro but also with Germany, France, Austria and other countries and that there have been and will be some specific outcomes.
