SIPA

This morning (28/5/2015), acting upon orders of the Court B&H, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) assisted by police officials of Brčko District B&H, searched several locations in the area of Brčko and upon orders of the Prosecutor’s Office B&H arrested one individual for war crime.

The individual identified by initials ĐR (1938) was deprived of liberty due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 172 paragraph (1) item h) of the CC B&H “War Crime against Humanity”, in the area of Brčko during 1992, in conjunction with Article 180 paragraph (1) of the CC B&H “Individual and Command Responsibility”.

The individual deprived of liberty will be brought to the premises of SIPA Tuzla Regional Office for criminal processing, after which he will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office B&H for further proceedings.
