SIPA

Last night (25/6/2015) - Within the activities continued under the operation codenamed “CD”, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested the individual identified by initials KF.

The individual KF was invited to come to SIPA premises in Istočno Sarajevo where he was deprived of liberty due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence of organised crime in conjunction with criminal offence of trafficking in human beings for labour exploitation and other criminal offences. 

This morning (26/6/2015), following criminal processing in SIPA premises, the individual KF was handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office B&H for further proceedings.

In coordination with relevant authorities in France, SIPA investigators are working continuously to identify and shelter trafficking victims.  

The joint investigation team set up within this case also continues its activities to shed light on all criminal offences and document criminal activities of the suspects. The public will be informed of the final outcomes.
