SIPA Deprived Four Individuals of Liberty for War Crime

This morning (9/7/2015), acting upon orders of the Prosecutor’s Office B&H, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), deprived four individuals of liberty for war crime in Stolac Municipality.

The individuals identified by initials MP (1961), MR (1948), IM (1959) and VK (1956) were deprived of liberty due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 173 Paragraph (1) of the CC B&H “War Crime against Civilians”, in the area of Stolac Municipality during 1993, in conjunction with Article 180 of the CC B&H “Individual and Command Responsibility”, and Article 21 and 29 of the CC B&H.

Acting upon orders of the Court B&H, SIPA investigators searched the premises used by the suspects to discover and seize items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.

The arrested individuals will be brought to SIPA premises for criminal processing, after which they will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office B&H for further proceedings.
