On Saturday (23/5/2015) - In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the College "CEPS - Centre for Business Studies", a crime technician of SIPA delivered a three-hour practical training on “Crime Scene Investigation”.
Students of the study program “Security” majoring in “Criminalistics” had an opportunity to learn about SIPA’s specific on-the-spot procedures in the field of forensic techniques. During the lecture the crime scene investigation phases were elaborated through simulation of a criminal offence and the students participated in simulated crime scene investigations.
The Management and students of the "CEPS" College expressed their satisfaction with the training as it was an opportunity for them to learn about concrete practical examples. The lecture was delivered by a highly skilled and experienced SIPA expert in this field, who was involved in the most complex cases of organised crime, terrorism and other types of crime on which SIPA worked in the previous period.
The State Investigation and Protection Agency will continue to cooperate with this and other educational institutions in BiH.
