On 18 August 2014, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), in cooperation with members of the Border Police BH arrested two individual, N.B. and S.B., at Rača border crossing due to grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence set out in Article 205 of the Criminal Code of BH “Counterfeiting of Money”.

The Prosecutor’s Office BH and Court BH were informed about this, whereupon a passenger motor vehicle used by the arrested individuals was searched and a substantial quantity of counterfeit banknotes was found.

The arrested individuals were brought to the official premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) where they were criminally processed, whereupon on 19 August 2014, along with a report on a perpetrated criminal offence and perpetrators, they will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office BH for further procedure.

Activities within this case will be continued and the public will be duly informed about the outcomes.
