SIPA Arrested Three Individuals in Jajce for War Crime

This morning (15/12/2014) – Acting upon orders of the Prosecutor’s Office B&H police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested three individuals in the area of Jajce for war crime.

The individuals with initials UJ (1963 ), LJ (1966) and MJ (1962) were deprived of liberty due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 173 Paragraph (1) of the CC B&H “War Crime against Civilians” in the area of Jajce and in conjunction with Article 180 of the CC B&H “Individual and Command Responsibility”.

Acting upon orders of the Court B&H, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency searched buildings in three locations in the area of Jajce this morning to detect and seize items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.

Following criminal processing in SIPA premises the arrested individuals will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.
