SIPA

On 5 June 2014, acting upon orders by the Court BH and Prosecutor’s Office BH, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested three individuals for war crimes in Prijedor. Searches of buildings at three locations are ongoing.

M.V. (DOB 1955), R.V. (DOB 1960) and D.K. (DOB 1959) were arrested due to grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence set out in Article 172 of the Criminal Code BH “Crimes against Humanity” against Bosniak and Croat victims in Prijedor in 1992.

The arrested individuals were brought to the official premises of SIPA, where they are being criminally processed, whereupon they will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office BH for further procedure.
