SIPA Arrested One Individual for Forgery of Documents

On 12 December 2013, acting upon orders by the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched residential premises and a passenger vehicle in Sarajevo owned by K.S. (DOB 1968) due to grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence set out in the Article 373 of the Criminal Code of the Federation BH “Forgery of a Document”.

During the search, a substantial quantity of forged documents were found and seized, including green cards, various certificates, blank certified diplomas, powers of attorney, TUV certificates, service books, copies of passports, vehicle registration certificates, a number of seals, memory sticks, computers, printers/scanners and other items that can be used as evidence in criminal proceedings. In addition, two passenger motor vehicles with foreign registration plates were found and seized.

After the search, K.S. was arrested and brought to the official premises of SIPA where he is being criminally processed, whereupon he will be handed over for further processing to the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office.
