SIPA Arrested Four Individuals in Banja Luka and Prijedor

This morning (23/12/2014) – Acting upon orders of the Prosecutor’s Office B&H, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested four individuals in the area of Banja Luka and Prijedor for war crime.

The individuals with initials MK (1947), GM (1973), MM (1970) and RM (1963) were deprived of liberty due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 173 of the B&H CC “War Crime against Civilians” in the area of Sanski Most in the period 1992 – 1995.

Acting upon orders of the Court B&H, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency searched a building in the area of Prijedor to detect and seize items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.

The arrested individuals will be brought to the SIPA premises for criminal processing after which they will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s office for further proceedings.
