SIPA Arrested Four Individuals for Organised Crime, Searches at Several Locations Underway

Last night, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), in an operation coordinated with members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior and Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior, initiated activities on documenting a criminal offence of organised crime in conjunction with vehicle crime in Sarajevo and Istočno Sarajevo.

In the framework of these activities, three individuals M.M., A.S., and Z.Č. were arrested last night in Sokolac due to grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence set out in Article 250 of the Criminal Code BH “Organised Crime” in conjunction with the criminal offence set out in Article 214 of CC BH “Smuggling” and criminal offence set out in Article 287 of CC FBH “Aggravated Theft”.
Today, under this action another individual V.S. were also arrested.

Searches and inspections at a number of locations in Sokolac are underway, where it is expected to find items that can be used as evidence in further proceedings. These activities are being carried out upon orders by the Court BH and Prosecutor’s Office BH.

The arrested individuals were brought to the official premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, where they will be criminally processed and then handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office BH for further procedure.
