SIPA Arrested Five Individuals for War Crimes

In early morning hours on 19 August 2014, acting upon orders by the Prosecutor’s Office BH, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested five individuals in Mostar. These activities were carried out in cooperation with members of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Ministry of Interior.

E.Ć. (DOB 1956), H.Č. (DOB 1942), I.D. (DOB 1955), S.K. (DOB 1964) and M.K. (DOB 1965) were arrested due to grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence set out in Article 173 of the Criminal Code BH “War Crimes against Civilians” against Croat victims in Potok, Mostar Municipality, in 1993 in conjunction with Article 180 of the CC BH “Individual and Command Responsibility” and Article 29 of CC BH “Co-perpetration”.

The arrested individuals were brought to the official premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency in Mostar where they are being criminally processed, whereupon they will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office BH for further procedure.
