Today (25/06/2014) – As a follow-up of the activities under the case codenamed “Koverta” police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency searched a residential building in the area of Bosanski Petrovac and arrested one individual. These activities were carried out upon the orders of the Una-Sana Cantonal Court in Bihać and Una-Sana Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office.

The individual with initials EM was deprived of liberty due to grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 349 of the CC FBH “Tampering with Evidence” by trying to influence the witnesses in the case “Koverta”.

Following criminal processing in SIPA premises, EM will be handed over to Una-Sana Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.

As a reminder, the “Koverta“Operation under which three individuals have been arrested so far for organised crime and corruption-related criminal offences started 09/06/2014.

The activities in this case will be continued and the public will be subsequently informed of the outcomes.
