Yesterday (28/01/2015) – Acting upon orders of the Court B&H, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) located and apprehended the individual identified by initials BK (1959) in the area of Tuzla.

Previously, SIPA submitted a report against BK and other suspects in this case to the Prosecutor's Office B&H for grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence of organised crime in conjunction with the continued criminal offense of customs fraud, in a way that they committed aggravated theft of construction machines in the EU, which were then imported to B&H based on forged documents.

SIPA apprehended the suspects in this case in March 2010. Since the trial in this case is in progress and that the individual with initials BK was out of reach of the judicial authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Court B&H sent out a wanted circular for BK.

The apprehended individual will be handed over to the Court B&H for further proceedings today (29/01/15).
