SIPA Arrested 12 Individuals in Prijedor Area for War Crimes

Today (17/11/2014) – Acting upon the orders of the Court B&H and Prosecutor’s Office B&H, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested 12 individuals in the area of Prijedor for war crimes and searched four locations.

The individuals with initials DM (1962), RS (1943), RČ (1958), ZS (1971), ŽG (1968), IZ (1972), ZM (1969), BG (1967), RG (1967), UG (1961), RG (1967) and RI (1960) were deprived of liberty due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 172 of the CC B&H “Crime against Humanity” in Prijedor area during 1992.

The arrested individuals will be brought to SIPA premises for criminal processing, after which they will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.
