Today (5/10/2016), police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in cooperation with police officials of the Border Police B&H searched a location in the area of Sarajevo and apprehended two individuals.

The activities were carried out on orders of the Court B&H and Prosecutor’s Office B&H. The individuals were brought into connection with the disputed video produced by an Italian journalist and were deprived of liberty due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence of illicit trafficking in weapons and military equipment. During the searches of facilities, items, which will be used as evidence in further proceedings as evidence, were found and seized. Following criminal processing on the premises of SIPA, the prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office B&H will decide on the further status of the arrested individuals.
