Today, 25/12/2013 – Acting by the orders of the Court of B&H and Prosecutor’s Office of B&H police officials of SIPA in an operation codenamed “Partner” coordinated with Intelligence Security Agency of B&H apprehended two individuals in Tuzla.

The apprehended individual with initials MO is a member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the B&H Federation and another is an individual with initials VT who is a director of Health Insurance Institute of Tuzla Canton. They are arrested due to grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under the Article 250 of CC B&H “Organised Crime” and in conjunction with the criminal offence 380 of FB&H CC “Accepting Gifts and other Forms of Benefits”, criminal offence under the Article 382 of CC FB&H „Illegal Interceding“, criminal offence under the Article 383 of CC FB&H „Abuse of Office or Official Authority” and criminal offence under the Article 217 of CC B&H “Accepting Gifts and other Forms of Benefits”.

Criminal processing of the apprehended individuals is underway after which they will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H for further proceedings. Moreover, searches of several locations in Tuzla Canton are underway.

The activities in the case “Partner” will be continued and the public will be duly informed about final outcomes.
