SIPA Apprehended Six Individuals for War Crime

Yesterday and this morning, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) apprehended six individuals for war crimes in the area of municipalities of Kostajnica and Novi Grad. These activities were carried out on the orders of the B&H Prosecutor’s Office.

The individuals identified by initials MB (1958), NB (1950), NR (1965), DB (1963), RB (1960) and MK (1974) were apprehended due to grounds for suspicion of having committed criminal offense under Article 172 of the B&H Criminal Code "Crime Against Humanity", in the municipality of Bosanski Novi in 1992 and 1993.

The apprehended individuals will be brought to the official premises of SIPA for criminal investigation; thereafter, they will be handed over to the B&H Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.
