Today (11/30/2015), acting on the order of the B&H Prosecutor's Office, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) apprehended individual identified by initials SA (1967) for war crime in the area of Zvornik.

Individual identified by initials SA was apprehended due to grounds for suspicion of having committed criminal offence under Article 171 of the B&H CC „Genocide” in conjunction with Article 180 of the B&H CC, in the wider area of Zvornik, during 1995.

Acting on the order of the Court of B&H, SIPA investigators searched facilities used by the suspect, with the aim of finding and forfeiting items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.

The apprehended person will be brought to SIPA premises for criminal investigation. Thereafter, the person will be handed over to the B&H Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.
