SIPA Apprehended Individual Identified by Initials ES for War Crime

Today (02/19/16), acting on the orders of the B&H Prosecutor's Office, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) apprehended at the International Airport Sarajevo one individual for war crime.

Individual identified by initials ES (1959) was apprehended due to grounds for suspicion of having committed, during 1992 in the area of Čapljina, criminal offense under Article 172 of the B&H CC “Crime Against Humanity” and Article 173 of the B&H CC "War Crimes Against Civilians" in conjunction with Article 180 and 21 of the B&H CC.

Following the criminal investigation in the premises of SIPA, the apprehended individual was handed over to the B&H Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.
