SIPA Apprehended Eight Individuals for War Crime

This morning (18/6/2015), acting on the order of the B&H Prosecutor's Office, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) apprehended eight individuals for war crime in the area of Mostar, Ljubuški, and Čitluk.

Individuals identified by initials IK (1955), MJ (1953), SS (1955), SO (1969), NM (1964), VB (1968), VR (1961) nad DM (1953) were apprehended due to grounds for suspicion of having committed criminal offence under Article 172 paragraph (1) of the B&H CC „Crimes against Humanity” and the criminal offence under Article 175 of the B&H CC “War Crimes against Prisoners of War” in the area of Herzegovina from April 1993 to March 1994, in conjunction with Article 180 of the B&H CC “Individual and Command Criminal Responsibility” and Article 29 of the B&H CC “Complicity”.

The apprehended persons will be brought to SIPA premises for criminal investigation. Thereafter, they will be handed over to the B&H Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.
