SIPA and France Cooperation Continued: Agreed Training on Hunt for Proceeds of Crime

On 21 November 2012, the Regional Police Attaché – coordinator for West Balkan countries, Michel Felkay and Gendarmerie Colonel – Attaché for Internal Security of the French Embassy in BH, Eric Emeraux visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), where they met with SIPA’s Deputy Director, Heads of the Criminal Investigation Department, Financial Intelligence Department and Internal Control Department, with whom they discussed the continuation of cooperation and upcoming seminars to be held in March and May 2013 in Skoplje and Podgorica on “Corruption of Officers” and “Detection and Seizure of Proceeds of Crime”.
At these seminars, the State Investigation and Protection Agency will be represented by police officials engaged in tasks and activities of combating corruption and money laundering.
The Regional Police Attaché and Attaché for Internal Security of the French Embassy in BH presented Goran Zubac with a bulletin on “Hunt for Proceeds of Crime” describing all French structures enabling the seizure of assets and property originating from illegal activities.
