On 20 February 2014, H.E. Filip Teodorescu, Romanian Ambassador in BH visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with Goran Zubac, Director of SIPA.
Ambassador Teodorescu handed the Director of SIPA an invitation to a regional conference on “High Level Promotion of Best Practices in Combating Corruption and Return of Property, to be held in Bucharest. The reason for the visit of the Romanian Ambassador to SIPA was the current security situation in BH and anti-corruption.

Director Zubac presented the role of SIPA in the security system in BH to Ambassador Teodorescu and pointed out that, in line with the Strategy of SIPA, combating corruption and serious financial crime were one of the priorities of the Agency. Director Zubac also presented results of recent operations by SIPA that relate to fighting this type of crime.

During the meeting, both parties emphasised the importance of regional and international cooperation against this type of crime, whereby modalities and direction of future cooperation were determined.
