SIPA

Colonel Peter Scheibner, Deputy Commander of the Austrian Special Force Unit “COBRA“, visited SIPA Special Support Unit on Monday (24/11/2014). Scheibner met Jovica Mirosavljević, Acting Commander and his associates and the aim of the visit was to learn about and share experience. The meeting was attended also by Wolfgang Pichler, Police Attaché of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Interior in B&H.

Scheibner delivered a presentation to the SIPA Special Support Unit members and introduced them with organisational structure, competence, methods of work and training system of the Special Force unit COBRA. SIPA members presented details pertaining to the work of SIPA Special Support Unit, weapons and other equipment used by the Unit in their operations.

The visit was realized within the framework of the continued successful cooperation between the State Investigation and Protection Agency and police authorities of the Republic of Austria. It is concluded that the cooperation between partner special units is highly successful, and that it will be further enhanced in the future.
