Prevented Illegal Entry of 80.000 HRK to B&H

On October 8th, 2010 police officials of the Gorica Border Police Unit (JGP) prevented an illegal entry of 80.000 HRK to Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the Gorica international border crossing.

The money was hidden in several places in a vehicle and detected by a detailed search of the Mecedes passenger motor vehicle with B&H registration plates, driven by R.B. (DOB 1989) from Mostar. R.B. did not declare the money, nor did he have an adequate coverage for it.

The vehicle and the driver were transferred to the JGP Gorica Headquarters, and the Prosecutor's Office of B&H and the Court of B&H were informed about this event. The case was forwarded to SIPA officials for further processing, and they will submit a report on the committed criminal offence set out in the Article 214 of the CC B&H (Smuggling) to the competent Prosecutor's Office.
